Microspheres

PVA embolization particles

Bearing nsPVA (Merit Medical) consists of non-absorbable hydrophilic irregularly shaped polyvinyl alcohol particles intended for vascular occlusion or reduction of blood flow in target areas. Thanks to their biocompatible structure, they provide effective embolization of peripheral hypervascular tumors, including uterine fibroids, and are also used in the treatment of arteriovenous malformations.
Drug-loading microspheres for chemoembolization

HepaSphere (Merit Medical) is a high-tech hydrophilic microsphere developed for precision embolization of hepatic vessels in hepatocellular carcinoma and metastases. Its main feature is the ability to expand upon contact with fluid and act as a carrier for chemotherapeutic agents such as doxorubicin or irinotecan, enabling targeted local release within the tumor. These biocompatible and non-resorbable spheres adapt ideally to vessel shape, allowing effective therapeutic or preoperative embolization.
Gelatin for embolization

Hemostatic band

TR Band™ (Terumo) and Prelude Sync DISTAL (Merit Medical) are radial artery compression devices used after transradial procedures. TR Band is a classic standard with a transparent design for visual monitoring and a unique air-chamber structure that selectively compresses the artery. Prelude Sync DISTAL is specifically designed for hemostasis in the anatomical snuffbox area (distal radial access); it has an ergonomic curved shape and an offset band that provides stable fixation in this challenging area while preserving thumb mobility.
